A few words about Annie

Annie Falconer was born in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, in 1973. She is an accomplished singer-songwriter and pianist and cites her influences as Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell.

Annie started playing the piano at 11 years of age and began performing her songs whilst studying in Preston for a degree in Performing Arts. At this time she began to explore her spiritual beliefs and that journey became the inspiration for her unique songs.

‘I needed to smash all my preconceptions, and rebuild my life without the ‘me’ that I had created over many years’ says Annie.

By chance Annie met local music manager Jilly Johnson who, having heard her perform 2 songs, bought her to London to meet Producer Andy Wright (Simple Minds, Eurythmics, Imelda May, Jeff Beck). Andy’s enthusiasm for Annie’s songs was clear from the start and he has since began collaborating on her debut album which should be ready for release in the Spring of 2023.

‘Annie is a truly inspirational artist. She embodies both the music she writes and the concepts she hopes to communicate. A true star in the making.’

- Andy Wright

Through so many significant personal events and years of self discovery, Annie has emerged as a major talent on the world music scene.

‘From the Oceanic depths of my heart’, Annie Falconer is set to inspire people with her music for many years to come.
